Wow! The Walgreens deals just keep coming and coming this week! I popped into the store last night to pick up a few more freebies. Here's what the transaction looked like:
Purchased:
(8) Dove deodorants on sale @$2.24 each
(3) Playtex gloves @ $.99 (used in-ad coupon)
(2) Clearanced $.09 dessert cups for filler items
Coupons used:
(5) $1/1 Dove deodorant from 10/4 insert
(3) $1/1 Dove printable from redplum.com
(3) $1/1 Playtex gloves from recent inserts
$10 RRs from previous transactions
Final cost: $.07! Plus, got back a $10 RR for the Dove!
All I had to pay out of pocket was about $1.97 including tax, so not too shabby for getting my stockpile set with deodorant for a while. I'm so thankful for these deals, especially since I had really cleared out my stockpile before we moved a couple months ago. Now I'm building it back up so that my family and I can have all the personal hygiene items we need for the next year for pennies on the dollar of regular retail price!
did you use the coupon fromthis past sunday for the gloves? My coupon was for the "handsaver" gloves?

ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of different Playtex gloves Qs.... some from Sunday and some from a couple months ago. Some of them say good on any "Handsaver" or "Living" gloves, others say good on any Playtex disposable gloves. They are all $1/1... not sure which ones were from Sunday and which ones were from earlier inserts.
My Walgreens had several types of gloves included in the $.99 sale... so unless they are out of stock, you should be good either way!
By the way, I did the exact same thing as you... did a ton of transactions last week only to realize later that all those items were FARR all month! I guess I missed that memo too. :-)
