Great Deal today only: Groupon + Soap.com

Today only, Groupon is offering a $20 gift certificate to Soap.com for only $10, and that includes free shipping!! If you haven't used Soap.com before, it's basically an online household goods store with reasonable prices on every cleaning supply or household paper supply you could need. Combine a great site with a deal like today's Groupon, and you've got a great way to save some serious dough on the household products that you need but which rarely go on sale at supermarkets or drugstores!

When I made my last purchase from Soap.com, I got 2 bottles of laundry detergent, 2 bottles of fabric softener, 8 rolls of bounty paper towels, 12 big rolls of Charmin TP, and a can of Suave hair mousse for right around $7, including shipping when I used a $20 gift code just like the one offered on Groupon today. Hopefully this will give you an idea of the type of deals you may be able to score with this deal!

I've already purchased this Groupon. You want one, too? Here's how:

• Go to Groupon and login or sign up.

• Under the "Visit other cities" tab, click on Long Island. This is an online deal, so everyone can take advantage, regardless of where you live!

• Purchase the Soap.com Groupon deal. They will put the $20 code in your account within 24 hours, and you'll have until December 23 to use it.

• One code may be purchased per person. Multiples may be purchased as gifts. I'm not sure if you'll be able to combine a Groupon gift certificate plus another coupon code, but if so and you're a first-time shopper at Soap.com, enter the code order10 at checkout to get an additional 20% off your first order!

Hat tip to Money Saving Mom!

  1. Maybe I'm not doing this correctly, but the Long Island coupon is for a restaurant called Sutton Place...? Help?

  2. Scratch that. Just realized today is Thursday...not Wednesday. Ugh, the brain of a new mom is not always working properly! Love the blog, and thanks for keeping us posted!
